FAQs
Talk to us directly
Do I need prior cybersecurity experience?
No. We start from the fundamentals. Basic IT familiarity helps, but complete beginners have gone through this program and done very well.
Online or in-person?
Our curriculum is built primarily for in-person batches. But we have delivered the training for a few remote batches as well – across the country.
Where is KIIS located?
KLEAP Institute of Information Security is based in Hyderabad. Address – 15th Floor, Segment Spaces, Manjeera Trinity Corporate, KPHB, Kukatpally.
If you’re in Hyderabad and want to meet us before enrolling, we’re happy to talk in person.
Can I switch to Ethical Hacking after enrolling in SOC?
No. When you enroll, you choose your track – SOC, Ethical Hacking & VAPT, or GRC.
Tracks are fixed at enrollment. This keeps the program structured and ensures every cohort moves together. Take your time choosing – we’re happy to give you counselling to figure out which track suits you best before you enroll.
What's the difference between SOC and Ethical Hacking?
SOC is defensive security: monitoring, detection, incident response, and threat analysis.
Ethical Hacking is offensive: penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and exploitation.
Both are strong career paths.
They suit different strengths. If you’re drawn to investigating and responding to attacks, SOC is your track. If you want to find vulnerabilities before attackers do, Ethical Hacking is yours.
Will we help you get a job?
We’ll give you everything we can – placement consultation, interview prep, and introductions to relevant employers. The outcome depends on factors beyond our control too. What’s fully in our control is how prepared you are. We don’t compromise on that.
Will you get a certificate?
Yes – after your skills have been properly evaluated. We don’t issue certifications before we’ve confirmed you’ve got the skills to earn it.
What's the fee?
Our course fee is a flat INR 75,000, paid at the time of enrollment in the course.
Do we have a refund policy?
Yes, we have a refund policy.
A refund is only allowed if you want to withdraw within the first 7 days of the course. On the time of refund, you’ll be charged 30% processing fees. The refund will be processed within two days of cancellation.
Students who do not attend the course without prior notification are not eligible for a refund.
